COPYRIGHT P IRACY and Intellectual Property Rights (May 15, 1996)
In light of a recent skirmish between the US and China, RIE is interested in publishing theoretical and empirical papers dealing with piracy, intellectual property rights, and trade sanctions.
REVIEW Articles (May 22, 1996)
RIE solicits review articles. If you are interested in writing a review article on an important subject, please contact the editorial office.
REFEREE Reports (May 22, 1996)
E-mail reports are acceptable. An e-mail report includes (i) a cover letter with the manuscript number/title and your opinion, and (ii) the report itself intended to be transmitted to the author(s). If it is successfully transmitted, you will get a confirmation from the editorial office. Do not use MIME. Please send the reports also by snail mail. Fax reports are likewise acceptable.

RIE EXPANDS its Volume (May 25, 1996)
Starting in 1997, RIE will increase its volume to 512 pages (a 33% increase) per year to accommodate more papers. Your continued supports as contributors and referees are greatly appreciated.

CANCELLATION OF Special Issue. (June 20, 1996)
Due to irreparable differences between RIE and Annales d'Economie et Statisque, a joint RIE-Annales special issue on "Recent Development in Trade Theory" is now cancelled. See Special Issues section.


ABSTRACTS. (September 21, 1996)

Starting from Volume 4, abstracts of papers published or forthcoming in RIE will be made available on RIE homepage and through ERN. Follow the RIE style, and e-mail the abstract of your accepted paper to the editorial office.
